Campaign functionality in current IMPACT apps

Last updated: 7 May 2026

What this does

Explains the campaign functionality that is currently present in IMPACT and distinguishes it from legacy marketing-campaign material.

Current access and functionality

  • Verified against the current impact-web, impact-client, and impact-marketplace code on 2026-05-07.
  • impact-web exposes survey campaigns from the survey/questionnaire area. Admins can create campaigns, choose recipients, schedule timing, set public or private access, and review campaign results where available.
  • impact-client includes survey campaign and respondent screens for mobile participation and selected setup flows.
  • impact-web also exposes Channel and Inbox configuration for communication accounts such as WhatsApp, Line, Messenger, Telegram, Zalo, and email-like inbox flows where entitled.
  • A standalone marketing campaign builder for customer segments, opens, clicks, invoice conversions, and sales attribution is not present in the current target apps.

What users can do today

  1. Create or edit a questionnaire or survey in web.
  2. Start a survey campaign from the questionnaire version or survey campaign area.
  3. Choose recipients by workspace, project, team, member, role cohort, or public access where supported.
  4. Set timing such as immediate start, scheduled start, or project-end based trigger where available.
  5. Monitor campaign responses and results from the survey campaign pages.
  6. Configure channel accounts separately under Channel or Inbox settings if the workspace is entitled and the user is a workspace admin or owner.

Common issues

  • Issue: The user cannot find Campaigns > New campaign for sales or marketing. Fix: The current apps expose survey campaigns, not a standalone marketing campaign builder.
  • Issue: WhatsApp configuration is visible but campaign sending is not. Fix: Channel setup and survey campaign setup are separate features.
  • Issue: A staff user cannot create a campaign. Fix: Survey setup is admin-oriented and depends on workspace permissions and entitlements.
