How to complete checklists in the mobile app

What this does
Complete task checklist items in impact-client, including checkbox, text, number, date/time, file, image, location, radio, range, and other rule-based checklist inputs where configured.
Current access and functionality

impact-client,impact-web, andimpact-marketplacecode on 2026-05-07. - Mobile checklist work is primarily tied to assigned tasks and workflow stages.
- Staff can complete or review checklist items where task access permits. Admins and managers may have broader access depending on project and workspace roles.
- The app supports local checklist result storage and sync for selected checklist item changes. Structural checklist editing and template management are web-first or admin-oriented.
- File, image, video, annotation, and location-style inputs may require device permissions and a stable connection to upload.
How to complete a checklist
- Open the assigned task from My Tasks, project details, or the landing/home view.
- Open the checklist attached to the current workflow stage.
- Review each checklist item and its required input.
- Enter the requested evidence or result.
- Add files, images, annotations, or location data only when the checklist item asks for it.
- Save or submit the checklist result.
- Confirm the task stage can proceed after required checklist items are complete.
Offline and sync notes
- Simple checklist result changes can be queued locally and synced later.
- Upload-heavy inputs such as files, images, and videos need network access.
- If the app shows pending or stale checklist data, reconnect and reopen the task or checklist.
- Avoid editing the same checklist from multiple devices while offline.
Common issues
- Issue: A checklist item is read-only. Fix: You may not be assigned to the current stage or may only have review access.
- Issue: File or image upload fails. Fix: Check device permissions, file size, network stability, and retry after reconnecting.
- Issue: Completed items reappear as incomplete. Fix: Wait for sync, refresh the checklist, and check whether another user changed the same task stage.
