How to use Marketplace in the mobile app

Last updated: 7 May 2026

What this does

Use marketplace-related mobile screens to browse items, view item details, review owned inventory, check orders, and import supported template content where the app exposes an import flow.

Current access and functionality

  • Verified against the current impact-client, impact-web, and impact-marketplace code on 2026-05-07.
  • impact-client includes marketplace browsing, item detail, merchant, order, inventory, and preview screens.
  • Supported content previews include marketplace checklists, competencies, questionnaires, project/playbook-style items, and risk templates where available.
  • Purchase, ownership, entitlement, and import availability depend on account, workspace, item type, role, and destination feature.
  • Some marketplace actions open impact-marketplace or are completed in impact-web, especially when importing content into admin-managed workspace templates.

How to use marketplace content

  1. Open Marketplace from the mobile app where available, or open a marketplace/import action from a supported feature.
  2. Browse items or open owned inventory.
  3. Review item details, merchant information, version, language, price, and preview content.
  4. Complete purchase or acquisition through the supported marketplace flow.
  5. Open inventory or order history to confirm ownership.
  6. Import supported content into the destination feature only if your role and workspace permit it.

Common issues

  • Issue: The marketplace opens outside the app. Fix: Some flows intentionally hand off to impact-marketplace.
  • Issue: An owned item cannot be imported. Fix: Check item type, destination feature, workspace selection, and admin/management permission.
  • Issue: A purchased template is missing in mobile. Fix: Confirm the same account is signed in and check inventory or order history in impact-marketplace.
