How to use projects in the mobile app

Last updated: 7 May 2026

What this does

Use impact-client to view assigned projects, inspect project details, open project tasks, review progress, and access related mobile project views.

Current access and functionality

  • Verified against the current impact-client, impact-web, and impact-marketplace code on 2026-05-07.
  • Mobile project access depends on workspace membership, project membership, role, and assignment.
  • The mobile app includes project listing, project landing/details, project tasks, project members/SMEs, phases or milestones, risks, documents, surveys, statistics, dashboards, and selected Gantt-style planning screens where available.
  • Project creation, deep configuration, template setup, MPP import, and some scheduling or admin actions remain web-first.
  • Bookmarked projects and project cards can appear on the landing/home experience for quicker access.

How to use project views

  1. Confirm the correct workspace is selected.
  2. Open Projects from the landing/home quick actions or project card.
  3. Select a project from the list or bookmarked section.
  4. Review project summary, status, key dates, and progress indicators.
  5. Open project tasks to see the work assigned to you or your team.
  6. Use project subviews such as risks, phases/milestones, documents, surveys, statistics, or members where your access permits.
  7. Use impact-web for setup actions that are missing or read-only in mobile.

Common issues

  • Issue: A project is missing. Fix: Check workspace selection, project membership, filters, and whether the user has permission to view the project.
  • Issue: The user can view a project but not edit it. Fix: Project management actions depend on project role and may be web-first.
  • Issue: A project template or marketplace import action is unavailable. Fix: Confirm the user has admin access and use the supported web or marketplace flow.
