How to manage mobile settings and notifications

Last updated: 7 May 2026

What this does

Use impact-client settings, notifications, workspace switching, language/theme controls, authentication actions, and onboarding or coachmark guidance.

Current access and functionality

  • Verified against the current impact-client, impact-web, and impact-marketplace code on 2026-05-07.
  • The mobile app includes settings screens for language, theme, authentication-related actions, logout, app/environment information where enabled, and account/session controls.
  • Notifications are available from the mobile notification screen and landing/home notices. Users can filter, refresh, mark read, remove, or open linked content where permitted.
  • Workspace switching is available from the mobile landing/home workspace selector when the user belongs to multiple workspaces.
  • Guided onboarding and coachmarks can explain landing, workspace selection, projects, members, checklists, surveys, and related mobile screens.

Common actions

  1. Open the profile, settings, or landing/home controls.
  2. Change language or theme from settings where available.
  3. Open notifications to review updates, invitations, subscription notices, task alerts, or survey prompts.
  4. Select a workspace from the workspace selector before checking projects or tasks.
  5. Use password, biometrics, logout, or account actions from the relevant authentication/settings screen.
  6. Follow onboarding or coachmark prompts when they appear, or skip them if you already know the flow.

Common issues

  • Issue: Data looks wrong or incomplete. Fix: Check the selected workspace first.
  • Issue: A notification opens a screen the user cannot access. Fix: The linked object may require a role, entitlement, or assignment the user does not have.
  • Issue: Language changes are inconsistent. Fix: Restart or refresh the app if a screen was already open before the language change.
  • Issue: The user cannot change password from mobile. Fix: Use the available mobile authentication screen if present, or use the web password flow.
