What this does

Sets expectations for users asking how to send a first invoice from the current IMPACT apps.

Current access and functionality

• Verified against the current impact-web, impact-client, and impact-marketplace code on 2026-05-07.
• The active target apps do not currently expose an invoice creation or sending workflow.
• Marketplace checkout creates marketplace orders for template purchases; it is not a first-invoice workflow for customers.

Recommended current workflow

1. Use an external invoicing or accounting system for customer invoices.
2. Use impact-marketplace checkout only for marketplace template purchases.
3. Keep customer invoice support content marked as legacy or planned until IMPACT exposes the sales module.

Common issues

• Issue: The user cannot find Sales > Invoices. Fix: This screen is not currently present.
• Issue: The user expects marketplace orders to replace invoices. Fix: Marketplace orders only cover marketplace purchases.
