Preventive Maintenance

Keep building services on a regular care schedule.

Use recurring IMPACT tasks for air-conditioning, pumps and other building services. Record readings, service photos and follow-up repairs for the supervisor to review.

Know which service is due and what was done

Plan the visit. Check the service.

  1. Air-conditioning

    Service reviewed

  2. Water pumps

    Visit scheduled

  3. Emergency lighting

    Check due

Service completed, findings followed up

Sound familiar?

A service visit is marked complete, but the report is missing and a fault found during the visit has no follow-up owner.

Put it into practice

Run the monthly air-conditioning service.

Create a recurring service task for each area. Use your approved maintenance procedure and retain the service evidence in IMPACT.

A technician checks an air-conditioning filter while a supervisor records the service.
  1. 01

    Schedule the service

Set the recurring task, equipment reference, location and assigned technician. Include the approved service checklist.

  2. 02

    Record the actual checks

Capture the required readings, filter condition and service photos. Attach the contractor’s report when available.

  3. 03

    Assign repairs from findings

Give a leak or unusual reading its own follow-up task, owner and due date. Keep it linked to the service context.

  4. 04

    Review before closing

The supervisor reviews the completed checklist and evidence. Keep open repairs visible after the service visit is complete.

  • Fewer missed service dates
  • Evidence of the checks
  • Repairs with clear owners
